Sewing machine parts, manuals, and spares for sale; free advice (not valuations), and other interesting stuff...The shop is open and I'm stocktaking a lot of stuff that has sat for far too long.

I am open for orders every day from 3 till 6 on the telephone (at other times the phone will go to voicemail), and any time you like by email...
All Large Letters (under an inch thick) will be at least £4, and Small Parcels (up to 2 kilos!) remain at £5, but this may change...
EVERYTHING is now sent Tracked 48 hours, as it's more secure and makes my life a bit easier all round
(Advice on couriers will be treated with utter contempt, I use the Post Office...)

Make a proper list with all the details, and if you change anything, make the whole list again, please
If you don't know what your machine is (older Singers don't always have model numbers) send an image PLEASE!
Be prepared to leave a message and be patient for a reply, and, as always email is much the better way.
If I can lift it, I will post it, or get it posted
I post on Mondays and Thursdays, and pick, pack, and charge on Wednesdays and Sundays, other days I take orders but will not send out unless I love you and you can persuade me it's actually urgent...
Patience, please, if I don't get back to you in 34 minutes, it doesn't mean I don't care...
I don't plan to add much to the stock of whole machines in future, I have done too much damage to my back over the years and they sell seriously slowly from here. I will be listing a lot of things, for collection only, and possibly a few for for you to refurbish..
Until the big bagfull is empty, all possible post will be sent out in recycled packaging - for the planet and because the bag is overflowing..
Parts sales have resumed fully, but some things are taking a few days as all orders have to be picked before charging or quoting
Your 100-year-old machine can wait awhile, darling, and if you are running a business on an old machine, consider getting a back-up please
Any item can be reserved, of course and if you want lots of stuff, please make a good, comprehensive list WITH MY PART NUMBERS!
And, if you change your mind, find one on ebay for nothing, or run out of money, for goodness sake, PLEASE let me know...
I specialise in hand crank and treadle veteran and vintage domestic machines, but do have oddments for some industrials and others. I have nothing for, and know almost nothing about, (and care even less about) overlockers/sergers.
Not everything is online, it's an almost impossible job to get it uploaded fast enough, but I do try to have only actually-available items on the site..
